My House

This post is actually a personality test that requires you to draw a house that you like and answer a few multi choice questions. Try it out and see what your house says about you.

Mine is as follow:

What it says about me?

Based on the drawing and the 10 answers they gave this is a summary of their personality:

Your house tells the world that you ought to be a leader. You are a freedom lover and a strong person. You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You are very tidy person. There's nothing wrong with that because you're pretty popular among friends. Your life is always full of changes.

You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You see the world as it is, not as you believe it should be.
You added a flower into your drawing. The flower signifies that you long for love. We also see that you are sensuous, sexual, and privately passionate. You don't think much about yourself.

Try drawing your own house...

Holiday is going to be over

Time passes so fast and it also means my long break will be over soon. For the past 1 week, the main agenda was only eat, sleep, gamble.. meeting up with relatives and friends was really fun. This year I learnt to play mahjong (the 3 kaki type) but still not really good at it.

It's time to wake up from my nice, sweet dream and go back to work. hahaha! Another 2 days to go...

Gong Xi Fa Cai

An early greetings to everyone out there... Gong Xi Fa Cai.

Look at the simple office deco. Guess what, that was actually a Valentine's gift from Mr. Ha that I transferred into a CNY deco. hahahaha! Looks nice? I took out the little soft toy and the chocolates in the basket and replaced it with some mandarin oranges..

This year will be the first year celebrating CNY with married status and not being with my family. This year's celebration will be in KL.

Really look forward for a long break from work to rest and have a fresh mind to start working on a crappy project. Forget about all the worries I had during the break and enjoy all the good food, gatherings and TV programmes.

Happy Valentines Day

Here, I would like to wish all the couples a very Happy Valentines Day... Got this funni valentines image from a forwarded mail.
I am sure that there must be so many couples out there celebrating this special day in their very own/special way. No matter it is a romantic candle light dinner in a posh or simple home cooked food, most important is the loving couples continue to love each other more...
If you have not found your loved one yet, I wish you that this 'piggy' year will bring you love luck.

Long distance call - IDD132

IDD132 is a tremendous cost-saving service on international calls provided by Maxis. It is only 0.20 per minute but it is only applicable for 20 countries... luckily US is in the list, so I can call Mr. Ha on his hotel number. Can you imagine, 20cents per minute is even cheaper than prepaid call charges :D

If you would like to find out more about this service, please visit this link.

Malaysia Today News

It was a surprise to found this news http://malaysia-today.net/blog2006/newsncom.php?itemid=2323 at malaysia-today.net ( a political website )...

The day before, I read this fengshui tips by Yu Yang on thestar online. Can watch her show on Astro AEC on Sunday, 6.30pm. Found her show is quite nice, she taught the girls the way to be pretty and at the same time having good luck.

Oh ya, back to the fengshui tips in the article... She mentioned that this year the wifes will be the 'prosperity god' and the husband shall be more prosperous if he hugs the wife more.

Nice images

Was working with a colleague to create some wallpaper for the Quality Working Group. The intention is to install the wallpaper in everyone's pc/laptop to always remind us on the quality in our daily work. He introduced me to http://www.gettyimages.com that has a handful of nice images. Was very useful for creating presentations or any design work but must beware... do not use it for commercial purpose.

Building your house

Got this from a forwarded email...

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractorof his plans to leave the house-building business to live a more leisurelylife with his wife and enjoy his extended family. He would miss thepaycheck each week, but he wanted to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go & asked if he couldbuild just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, butover time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. Heresorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was anunfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect thehouse. Then he handed the front-door key to the carpenter and said, "This is your house... my gift to you."

The carpenter was shocked!

What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he wouldhave done it all so differently.

So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting lessthan our best into the building. Then, with a shock, we realize we have tolive in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do itmuch differently.

But, you cannot go back. You are the carpenter, and every day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Someone once said, "Life is a do-it-yourself project." Your attitude, and the choices you make today, help build the "house" you will live in tomorrow. Therefore, build wisely!

A day in IKANO & The Curve

Finally it is a holiday for me! And the best thing is I will be having a long weekend as my company is closed on Friday due to a holiday replacement on Saturday (Awal Muharam)...

Today I decided to go to IKEA, Ikano with sis to scout for something nice for my CNY house deco... Being kiasu, we want to reach by 10.00am so that we could easily find a parking. To my surprise, it was really a long queue at Bandar Utama entering 1U. Hmmm... I will definitely think many many times to go to 1U on holidays :P Well, we managed to secured a parking at Ikano and there are still ample of parking space at that time... hehe. The environment in the shopping complex was really nice with the deco of ushering CNY.

Had our lunch at Kim Gary. I have not been a big fan of this restaurant due to the food taste during the first few times of my visit (when it first opens). This time, the food taste was quite good. Maybe they improved and there were quite a number of variety of food.

During the hours we spent walking around The Curve, Ikano and Cineleisure... we bumped into few frens. Looks like this is a favourite spot in KL/PJ on weekends and holidays. Oh ya, Cineleisure now has flea market also... however, the clothes/accessories sold were not as nice as those at The Curve flea market.

That's how I spent my holiday without Mr. Ha around... ^_^
