Home Sweet Home

It was 2 yrs back that me and hubby bought a double storey house in Setia Alam. I loved the environment of the residential area very much... with greeneries, park surrounding the houses, I felt in love with it. Well, the not so good is the location is very far from city center. Hmm... anyhow, we were lucky as the developer has provided an access road to PJ area via NKVE which takes only 10 mins to reach Subang Jaya.

Few months back, me and hubby were busy renovating the house (only some minor work :P), shopping for the house, looking for the kitchen cabinet, booking for furniture, lamps, electrical appliances... wow, it was really hectic and really takes so much of our time (esp the weekends). It was really an amazing experience as we learnt a lot on the negotiation skills, knowledge on the construction materials, design + practicality, etc. We made quite a number of mistakes and each mistakes comes with a cost :( Now, the house is complete and look at the photos below...

The main entrance of my house...

The ceiling (box style cornice)...

Dining table (with a mirror, people said good for fengshui maa *_*)
The kitchen cabinet (chimni style cooker hood, nice or not? ;))

Kitchen cabinet (top part)

Everything looks good huh? I hope so... Some of the comments we received were our home is simple and nice... very cosy wor. We had choices to have the yellow/white lights in the living room... yellow=romantic, white=practical. hehehe.... sounds nice?

Will definitely post more photos after i deco my new home...
