Lotsa clothes and toys for Hsuen Wern
Papa just came back from US on Monday and brought Hsuen Wern lotsa nice clothes and toys. It is rather cheap to get clothes from Carters, Baby GAP, Osh Kosh, etc in US... So, papa did a lot of shopping for Hsuen Wern. Besides clothes, papa also bought toys for Hsuen Wern... Mostly from fisher-price... A tricycle, laughing Elmo, learning bunny, main street village (firehouse), roll-along snail and trumpet. Of course, papa's wallet also empty after the US trip.
From Baby Gap...

Put yourself in someone else's shoes
The above phrase... how many of us do apply this in our daily life? I tried to... Every time when something happens, I will try not to jump to conclusion and blame on anyone. I tried to think that probably there could be many reasons that certain wrong doings or decision made which cause s unhappiness.
However, sometimes i wondered how many of us that really do that? I think most people are very selfish and take care of their own needs or satisfaction. At times, I really get frustrated... why I need to understand how people achieve certain decision or action and yet nobody understands me.
I guess, to certain extend I can apply this but not all the time. Hahaha!

Petrol price increase!
Yes, it's true. I was anxiously waiting for the new price as on Tuesday there was a news saying that the PM will announce the new petrol subsidise scheme today. Well, at last by 6pm I got the news... RM2.70 per litre. That is 78 cents of increase, 40% increment. WOW! This is a very big difference for us.... normally we pump RM60 for full tank, and now we need to pump almost RM90. With this, it will definitely be a chain effect. Cost of living will increase as all the business wants to make more $ with the rising cost.
On my way back, the radio DJs are all discussing this topic. I guess once everyone knew this, the first thing to do is heading to the gas station to have their car pump in full tank. With heavy rain this evening, and queues on gas stations... it was really a terrible jam!
I even got some sms from friends asking me to go grab some groceries before price increase. Also, I think they are worried if there will be protest in town and it would not be safe for us to go out. I hope the situation will not be that bad.
Oh boss... can I have 30% increment? pls pls pls... haha!

Talking to papa
Mr. Ha has to fly to US for 3 weeks due to a project. He is there for about a week already and of coz he misses our dotter. We normally communicate through a call in Gtalk. Too bad that it is a quite rush trip, we din manage to get webcam. Otherwise, he will be able to see Hsuen Wern. Anyhow, since Hsuen Wern is able to make sounds, eee iiikk aaarrhh arrhh... Mr. Ha is able to listen to the noises she made. Quite fun tho... She is telling her papa to bring more stuff for her from US. I think Mr. Ha has already bought many things for her. 1 big luggage... enough or not? :D
Can you see the little gal is sitting in front of the laptop n talking to her papa? Isn't it cute... ;) Well, even during the days in my tummy, Hsuen Wern is already used to computer cause I do programming everyday. That's how mummy earning $ to buy susu tepung for her ya :D

Am I tired?
YES! I am extremely tired. Probably due to lack of good rest for the past few weeks... Everyday, I would just hope that I have a little longer time to sleep. Due to this, my mind has become slow and not able to response fast. Haha, this will be the best time to cheat me ya!

Life and Death
Life is always ended with death, but different people will be fated to end their life differently. Death could be due to old age, sickness, accident or even suicide. Eventhough we know that one final day we will die, we still feel fear to death, aren't we? Yes. With multiple encounter of my close family members that get to know about their illness and walking towards the end of their journey, they have fear. Feeling lost and confused, how are they suppose to face the fact that their life is almost towards the end, how long? They do not know.
Battling with critical illness is really not easy. Easy to be uttered in words that they have to be strong, look at things at the positive side, and rest more. The pain they suffer, the discomfort when they are admitted and all the needle poking they need to go through to diagnose the illness, nobody will understand. Emotion is unstable and lots of questions pops up in mind, 'Why me??', 'What causes this disease', etc... Instead of asking why, what, how, we should try to strengthen our mind and cooperate with doctor for treatment plans. I know it is hard, but as long as there is a survival chance, we should try.
Life is short, anything can happen when you wake up in the next morning. Something that might change your entire life. So, do care for your health so that you will be able to live longer with your loved ones and appreciate each and everyone around you as you wouldn't know how much time you will have with them.
For those who are still single, love yourself so that you can take care of your parents. For those who are married, love yourself so that you can take care of your parents, other half and also your young ones (if you have any).

An outing with Hsuen Wern
Since 1st May was a holiday, Mr. Ha and myself decided to bring Hsuen Wern out to a mall, The Curve in Damansara. As usual, it was quite jammed entering the parking due to holiday.
We spent a few hours in the mall without buying anything. Just let Hsuen Wern curiously looking around, enjoying the view of the mall...
Managed to snap a few photos of mummy and Hsuen Wern.
Ok, another photo with papa when we reached home.
Nowadays, Hsuen Wern likes to be cuddle... Once we put her down on her bed, she will start crying. Well, no tears... just shouting for attention. See her 'crying' face here...
Alright, it was a tiring day for all of us. Once Hsuen Wern reached home in the evening, she is extremely tired and slept for few hours. It is a nice experience but having an infant in a stroller, it's kinda troublesome to walk in a mall. Each time we need to go to another floor, we'll need to find the lift, instead of using the escalator. Another trouble is we need to feed her milk every few hours when she is hungry.
Anyhow, we will try to bring her out often so that she will get used to crowded environment.

Shower time
It's shower time for my little girl... She loves to be bath, never cries. Enjoying the shower time so much. Let see some of her poses during shower. As I am working on weekdays, I will only shower her during weekends. For the first few times, I would need extra hands to help out but I can handle her by myself after a few times practicing.
After shower, Hsuen Wern is so clean and smells good... Of course a very refreshing look. Ok, can go kai kai now :D

Hsuen Wern - 1 month+
Baby Hsuen Wern is now 1month+... She is now more responsive compared to the first few weeks old. She starts smiling to everyone in the family and we can't wait to play 'ang gu gu' (baby language) with her.. Look at her photos.. Well, its difficult to capture her smiling faces.. Out of 10 photos, I am lucky enough to be able to capture 1 smiling face :D
Looking at her growth is very interesting. As we know baby's look will change in every week, therefore I tried to capture her look quite often to keep as memory in the future. Oh well, growth is not only changes on her look, but also on her size ya ;) So, I will also always keep in mind to prepare bigger size clothes for her in few months time. Every time I was in shopping mall, I can't resist to shop something for her, be it clothes, toys or any cute stuff for baby. Very lucky of her! I still have not buy enough clothes for myself as my size is now bigger and I can't wear most of my pants after delivery.

Thank You!
A very big THANK YOU to our relatives, friends and colleagues who sent well wishes, gifts and generous angpows to welcome our newborn, baby Hsuen Wern. We felt very touched with it and really do not know how to express our appreciation.
Now that we have a lot of pampers and baby toiletries that can last for at least few months :D Also with the angpows, we can start saving for our baby.

Election 2008
For the past few weeks, this is the hottest topic being discussed by the whole nation including myself. I was on the confinement period and was following up the election campaign or news from newspaper and tv only. Did not have the chance to be out there and look at the posters and other interesting stuff that the people did for campaigning for their party.
Well, this year I did cast my vote and even got the chance to meet and shake hand with Datuk Sharizat contestant for Lembah Pantai at the election center. So coincident that she was there... Was quite excited with this year's election as the results were really unexpected which they called it political tsunami.
2008 election has marked the Malaysia history as this is the biggest win for the oppositions, when they managed to conquer 5 states. Since they are given a very big chance this time, I hope they will perform well and bring changes that we will be happy with.
