Happy Birthday
Hmm, this is a simple yet very true that this situation really happens in life. At first I thought this could be a really bored movie but at the end, just a few hrs before reaching S'pore, I decided to watch it. Well, the story is about the girl, Mi (Rene Liu) who was in love with Nam (Louis Koo) but she decided not to proceed with the relationship as she do not have the sense of security. Nam is handsome and popular among the girls and therefore Mi worried that Nam is not serious with her. So, she choosed to be just best friend to him. They both loved each other very much but it was just burried till Nam was dead due to cancer (if not mistaken, hehe...)
The decision to stay away from the man you love due to insecured is not so acceptable when her heart is still reserved for the man.... to me, if she choosed to be just best friends, she should let go the feeling and move forward. Why wanna suffer seeing him going out with other girls and deep in the heart waiting for him to be able to love her fully.
Hahaha, in life many things are always a gamble. If you never try, you will never know the result. Either it is bad or good, most important is we must learn from mistake and improve. There is no right or wrong :)

4th Weekend - Schwarzwald
We went to the largest cuckoo clock in the world and waited for the cuckoo bird to come out to cheer our day, hahaha! Well, it was really a huge one. Losta cuckoo clock sold as souvenier at this town.
Next, head to Triberg for the Germany's highest waterfall. Climbed up all the way and it was tiring. Anyway, in such a weather, we don't complain much because it was breezy and I bet it will not get you sweat. Nice scenery... and if have time, shall try hiking at this place.
Then, we drove to Titisee-Neustadt which is popular for winter sport. Here, there is a lake.. and we have lunch at one of the restaurant here. Wow, such a nice environment... cause the wind blows gently while you have your food. A little cold for me...
Well, last destination for the day... Freiburg. Popular opinion has it that Freiburg is the warmest city in Germany. Went in to a very old church which stands strong during world war II even the whole town was destroyed. Lastly, had a cup of coffee under the sun and drove back to Stuttgart.

4th Weekend - Heidelberg
Heidelberg castle is a famous ruin in Germany and is the symbol of the city of Heidelberg. The castle has only been partially restored since its destruction in the 17th century. The first “big barrel” in the cellar of Heidelberg Castle was built in 1591.
After the castle visit, we just hang around in the nearby town...

3rd Weekend - Neuschwanstein Castle & Munich
ok, what's there in Neuschwanstein castle? It is the most famous 19th century neo-romantic castle in the world built by Ludwig II, King of Bavaria. Heard from my colik that the castles in Disneyland look alike to this castle and this place is nominated as one of the NEW 7 wonders of the world.
After visit to castle, went to Munich city the 3rd largest city in Germany. Tried their popular dish, white sausage.. Hang around at the center of the city, Marienplatz a large open square. There are old church where you can climb up and enjoy the city view. Hmm... not my choice, so I headed to shopping complexes and 'window shopping'... :)

2nd Weekend - Switzerland
First we went to the Rheinfall (near to the border between Germany and Switzerland) to see a waterfall. I only saw this kind of nice waterfalls in the postcards... but now, I see it with my own eyes.
Next, we headed to Lake Lucerne. This is a small town around a lake which has very very nice sceneries. You will feel extremely comfortable being at this place. We hang around the city area... and was quite unlucky cause we reached city around 3+pm and the shops closes at 4+... Could not really shop... Anyhow, things were quite expensive over here.. and food as well.
The next day, we drove to Interlaken... a smaller town in Switz. Staying there, you will feel so healthy and relaxing. wow, how I wished my retired life is at this place... day dreaming ;)
Next, head to Zurich... a big city. Well, just hang around here 'window shopping' as all the shops were closed, we just look from the windows. However, restaurants were open at night. Lots of people were out for dinner.
The next destination was Stein and Rhein. Here, the buildings were painted with images. I don't know if the images represent some historic info or not :P But I would say this is a nice place, beautiful. And by the way, lost of cafe/restaurant here... The european likes to sit under the sun and have a cup of espresso. My colleague told me that the colmar tropicale in malaysia tries to imitate this place.
That's all for Switz trip. Overall, nice sceneries and very relaxing trip. However, the cost of livin in this country is quite high. So, food etc were kinda expensive for us... Check out the photos...

My Ah Beng neighbour
Look at the definition that I get from Wikipedia:
Ah Beng is a term commonly given to a member of a group of young Chinese men in Southeast Asia, particularly Singapore and Malaysia. These Chinese men, whose age ranging from their early teens to late 20s, usually centralise in the busier and more developed cities in the region, but are usually seen as originating from smaller or more rural towns. Ah bengs typically speak local slang, which is Hokkien or Cantonese mixed with English and Malay, such as Manglish or Singlish. They are often stereotypically portrayed to be anti-intellectual, superficial and materialistic and shallow. These values often lead to a lack of culture or indulgence in criminal activity or being involved in brawling or affray out of disagreement with other people. Ah bengs are also sometimes associated with extensively-modified or zhng-ed cars, and are stereotypically seen as being excessively flashy and show-offs.
The term 'Ah Beng' is also sometimes used to describe young Chinese men in Southeast Asia who cannot speak fluent English and/or have graduated from the secular Chinese education system of the region.

Farewell lunch at Alexis Bistro, BSC
Penne Roast Duck Breast
Seafood Spaghetti
Our VIP
Tiramisu
Only managed to snap a few main dishes, Sarawak Laksa, Penne, Seafood Spaghetti and Roast Duck Breast (my selection)... Overall the comment that I received was food portion is not large and the taste were so so only. My comment on the duck dish was hmm... not good. The meat was quite hard and the ducky smell was quite strong. I still prefer the chinese roast duck, with 'dong guai' and herbal fragrant... The most satisfying food for me on that day was the tiramisu. Wow! the piece of cake was really yummy. Me and Amanda were sharing for it and we were like... 'hmmm... let's order another piece?' and 'shall we ta pau a piece?'

Gotcha!
We could not stand it any longer and we decided to set up a trap and catch it... Well, the process is kinda simple:
- Get a rat trap. (If used one, clean it with soap or watever to remove the rat smell... they could recognize the smell and refueses to enter into the trap!)
- Close all the doors in your home. No rooms for it to hide.
- Roast some food (e.g. dried cuttle fish, salted fish, bak kwa, etc)... something smells good to attract it. (I used bak kwa, left over from cny)
- Cling the food in the trap.
- Set up the trap. Leave it overnight / days.
- GOTCHA!!! (It's in the trap)7. Kill it in any ways you preferred (sounds violent huh??)

My House
Mine is as follow:
What it says about me?
Based on the drawing and the 10 answers they gave this is a summary of their personality:
Your house tells the world that you ought to be a leader. You are a freedom lover and a strong person. You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You are very tidy person. There's nothing wrong with that because you're pretty popular among friends. Your life is always full of changes.
You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You see the world as it is, not as you believe it should be.
You added a flower into your drawing. The flower signifies that you long for love. We also see that you are sensuous, sexual, and privately passionate. You don't think much about yourself.

Gong Xi Fa Cai
This year will be the first year celebrating CNY with married status and not being with my family. This year's celebration will be in KL.
Really look forward for a long break from work to rest and have a fresh mind to start working on a crappy project. Forget about all the worries I had during the break and enjoy all the good food, gatherings and TV programmes.

Oh ya, back to the fengshui tips in the article... She mentioned that this year the wifes will be the 'prosperity god' and the husband shall be more prosperous if he hugs the wife more.

Building your house
An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractorof his plans to leave the house-building business to live a more leisurelylife with his wife and enjoy his extended family. He would miss thepaycheck each week, but he wanted to retire. They could get by.
The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go & asked if he couldbuild just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, butover time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. Heresorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was anunfortunate way to end a dedicated career.
When the carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect thehouse. Then he handed the front-door key to the carpenter and said, "This is your house... my gift to you."
The carpenter was shocked!
What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he wouldhave done it all so differently.
So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting lessthan our best into the building. Then, with a shock, we realize we have tolive in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do itmuch differently.
But, you cannot go back. You are the carpenter, and every day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Someone once said, "Life is a do-it-yourself project." Your attitude, and the choices you make today, help build the "house" you will live in tomorrow. Therefore, build wisely!

A day in IKANO & The Curve
Today I decided to go to IKEA, Ikano with sis to scout for something nice for my CNY house deco... Being kiasu, we want to reach by 10.00am so that we could easily find a parking. To my surprise, it was really a long queue at Bandar Utama entering 1U. Hmmm... I will definitely think many many times to go to 1U on holidays :P Well, we managed to secured a parking at Ikano and there are still ample of parking space at that time... hehe. The environment in the shopping complex was really nice with the deco of ushering CNY.
Had our lunch at Kim Gary. I have not been a big fan of this restaurant due to the food taste during the first few times of my visit (when it first opens). This time, the food taste was quite good. Maybe they improved and there were quite a number of variety of food.
During the hours we spent walking around The Curve, Ikano and Cineleisure... we bumped into few frens. Looks like this is a favourite spot in KL/PJ on weekends and holidays. Oh ya, Cineleisure now has flea market also... however, the clothes/accessories sold were not as nice as those at The Curve flea market.
That's how I spent my holiday without Mr. Ha around... ^_^

Got a kiss on my back
Out of a sudden, the car in front of me had an emergency brake. Shit! I was able to brake immediately but...... bang! the car behind me kiss my back. It was quite a loud one but when I get down, the back looks ok, only minor scratches. Anyhow, the lady (mother of the driver) was a nice lady, quickly apologize. The conversation wasn't very long, she passed us her name card to contact her to send our car for repair at her husband's shop. When we reached home, noticed that the reverse sensor was not working.... arrgghh!
Well, kinda unlucky recently... the previous accident was only a month back :( Anyhow, as long as the driver & passengers are safe it is good enough :)

It has been a long time...
Well, at the moment I am back to my parent's house because Mr Ha is away on biz trip to US. It is dangerous for me to be at home alone especially it is a new residential area. So, Mr. Ha suggested me to be back with my family. After all, it is really good because I can have home cooked food after work :)
